Deep-Sea World

Growing up by the sea, along the West Coast of Ireland I have always been captivated by the Wild Atlantic Ocean, with its crashing waves, currents, and tides.

From an early age I always had an interest in traditional embroidery, crochet, hand knitting and patchwork techniques. My passion for the ocean and traditional textiles, has always come naturally to me.

Using hand knitting techniques, I have designed and created a series of swatches. This work has been inspired by textures, shapes and colours of fish, creatures and the life that lives within this amazing deep-sea world.
