Discord

Through my own personal experience my collection, “Discord” is a story of resilience, acceptance, and the will to overcome. Through line drawings and illustrations of my face I tried to capture my response of my experience with depression. Bold colours and prints with boning elements creates the idea of more freedom than they initially suggest. The colours and textures of the collection clash purposefully to evoke sensation in the clothing. The lines blur from beneath the surface and flow continuously around the body, creating powerful and contemporary silhouettes.
