Sanssouci

My collection is influenced by 18th century Palaces in Berlin. The interior is full of lavish decoration in Baroque and Rococo style. I was drawn to the pastel colours found throughout each palace. Gold was also a predominant colour which caught my eye. I wanted to translate the luxury elegance of the Palace into fashion. I was inspired by the architecture and lines which I translated into knit structures. I created my garments on a hand flat domestic knitting machine which allowed me to have full control over each textile. My work is defined by delicate textiles with a focus on soft colours with an accent of gold. My collection includes a combination of different lace structures and textiles. Each garment is made with 100% lambs-wool and viscose.
