In this project, creating a narrative that contains a message with the use of Slavic mythology such as Baba Yaga and her chicken-legged house helps represent the twisted imagination this project holds which has a lesson to be taught.
In folklore, there are numerous depictions of Baba Yaga’s appearance. Baba Yaga’s character is best described in the story of Vasalisa the Beautiful. The lesson of the story of Vasalisa the Beautiful is that Vasalisa is sent to Baba Yaga’s hut to fetch fire, but in order to do so, she must accomplish duties for Baba Yaga, and if she does not, she will be eaten by Baba Yaga.
