My work is a representation of my own personal journey through one of the most prominent aspects of my life and identity. Incorporating two of the main features of my existence, art and GAA. My work focuses on memory and sense of place, while incorporating objects that I feel are associated
with and trigger certain personal recollections and emotions. This body of work is a response to fulfill my need to express this part of my life. My aim
is to depict the emotion created between people and place with the main focus being on my own relationship with sport and rural Gaelic grounds from home, working mainly with printmaking, sound and photography.
