Cat Walk
My project is a collection of colourful CAT poster art. My favourite processes to work in are Screenprint and Risograph. Im interested by graphic style visual art such as elements of graphic design and animation styles which use symbolism and simplifications to create visually interesting compositions which are easy to read.
I mainly work with Digital drawings and multi layer screens printed in bright colours on paper.
For this project i have also designed and cut vinyl stickers and laser cut acrylic plastic designs and experimented with bitmap gradients
My work is inspired by Techno and EDM graphical posters/graphics/flyers from ~ 1990s – present
These artworks are often colourful/high contrast, both abstract and effective at capturing attention while still remaining readable.
My own artwork revolves around cats These cat graphics are used to create characters and represent ideas which i present in a large scale poster format.
