Oh, there she is!
Memory is a person’s most important asset both in terms of the knowledge they possess and those cherished
memories.
Every 3 minutes, dementia steals a precious memory.
As memories fall away like winter leaves and time and space become jumbled pieces of a jigsaw puzzle, how will the
person and their loved ones cope with this long separation?
Those who live with dementia patients are sometimes eager to pull them out of a chaotic world, to correct and teach
the patient what is right. The people around the patients day and night do not always recognize that many of their
abnormal behaviours are abnormal due to the disease.
This simple animation shows an example of an embarrassing experience a person with dementia could have.
It is important to act now to keep our families safe from dementia sooner rather than later.
Please take a few minutes to fill in the questionnaire which could help prevent dementia in the future.
