Stop Procrastinating
The project initially looked to explore Japan’s Shikoku Henro pilgrimage and the inspirations
behind it but turned to highlight the value of the journey itself. This shift motivated the
creator to challenge individuals to step out of their comfort zones, aligning with the
project’s original aims.
The concept transformed into a motivational piece addressing procrastination. A tall banner
visually depicts research findings, featuring words that transform from negative to positive
through animation. Alongside, an inner monologue mirrors typical thoughts of
procrastinators, while metaphorical images represent journey essentials.
A QR code unlocks an animated sequence where negative words dissolve, replaced by
vibrant colours symbolizing positivity. The banner concludes with the empowering phrase “I
will,” emphasizing action over procrastination. Through this approach, the project
encourages viewers to overcome hesitation and embrace active engagement with life’s
challenges.
