‘Celebrating Different Minds’

The ‘Celebrating Different Minds’ awareness campaign promotes
understanding and acceptance of Neurodiversity, which
encompasses the diverse ways ‘individuals’ brains function. By
challenging stereotypes and misconceptions, the campaign seeks
to shift the focus towards recognising and celebrating the unique
skills and talents of neurodiverse individuals. Through a series
of empowering posters, the campaign aims to normalise the
concept of Neurodiversity focusing on more than just labels like
Dyslexia, OCD, Autism, or ADHD, In the aim to eliminate stigma. By
highlighting the positive aspects of diverse thinking and showcasing
the superpowers that come with it, ‘Celebrating Different Minds’
encourages individuals to embrace their differences and contribute
to a more inclusive and diverse community.
The poster’s designs draw inspiration from the Post-modern
movement and deconstructivism, taking influence from renowned
Graphic designers like Neville Brody and David Carson. The poster
series with supporting videos aims to evoke the feelings portrayed
by the selected words and typographic design, going beyond the
limitations of written language. Promoting a greater comprehension
of the neurodivergent experience, empowering individuals to gain a
more profound understanding.
