Is something a little off?

My collection reflects the idea that order is fragile and might easily turn into chaos.

I was drawn to the monumental size of the Barbican Centre in London, a big brutalist structure that was originally associated with optimism in the future, a vision that didn’t play out in the expected way.

I was interested in how people move through the building in their own unexpected ways. I wanted to design garments that made people feel a little uncertain and prompt questions: what is that?, how was that made? I’ve explored this sense of something breaking down or not coming to fruition through the lens of our current sense of unease about the future.
