OUTBREAK

My collection explores the manipulative and life-altering effect a virus has
in the bloodstream. It is an investigation into the struggle of the immune system versus the virus, which ultimately takes control of its host. Inspired by veins, the silhouette and patterns mimic the ebb and flow between tension and calm as the virus multiplies and conquers. My aim was to marry the use of texture using raffia and embroidery while maintaining an interesting silhouette.
