Instant Coffee

My work is focused on articulating a temporal impasse around the production of culture under conditions of post Fordism. The new appears simply, to be a footnote in the widespread urgency to produce, where everything becomes a means of extraction.

Instant coffee, an installation, is a play on these systems of production. It is fabricated through laser cut sheets of clear perspex, assembled in rectilinear forms, which coalesce with other materials such as wooden 1×1 and vinyl to create modulating architectural forms.
