Bloodlust

My collection is inspired by the film, Natural Born Killers. This movie follows the journey of Mickey and Mallory Knox, two victims of traumatic childhoods who become lovers and mass murderers, and are irresponsibly glorified by the mass media. The film attacks the medias obsession with violence and satirises a sensationally celebrity obsessed society. It is a story of twisted love, infatuation and violence. I used suiting and shirts to symbolises the medias presence and control within the film, I then illustrated the journey of chaos and disorder through the method of stand work.
