HECATE

My work deals with objects that are usually unseen and rarely considered, and have an intimate relationship with a woman’s body. The Cyanotype technique refers to the adverts directed at women, using blue liquid instead of menstrual blood to demonstrate the use of femcare products. I am seeking to help demystify this process of the female body, by making art about menstruation and even using the by-products of this natural occurrence.
