Self Identity

After I graduate, I intend to go to New York on a Graduate Visa and work in branding and typography. Because of this, my self identity is based around my ambition to travel to the Big Apple. The main element in this design are the two squares. A square is represented by four sides (i.e four seasons, four directions, four elements). The square which is at an angle illustrates the angle, on a map, from Killarney, Co.Kerry (my hometown) to New York. This angle can change depending on what city I wish to seek work in. The rectangle placed before my initials represent the New York grid system which is made up of hundreds of rectangles and one large rectangle which depicts Central Park, one of my favourite parts of the city. Lastly, the dot portrays me and my work and the idea of thinking outside the box.
