This book is a discussion with the reader about the annoyances of the internet and computers, presented in a physical format – laptop screen dimensions, with a hardback cover to give it the illusion of being something substantial. The paper stock changes to one of lesser quality halfway through to mirror the change in experience one has when using the internet.
As the internet is never-ending, you may not know how long it will take you to read a short article – what with hyperlinks and pop-ups. The physical format is to bring to light the extensive time that can be put into reading a short piece. Accompanying this is an article about being addicted to distraction.
My intention is not to annoy or provoke the reader, but to remind them of the problems and distractions we face, and how we can overcome them to better our experience.
