It is estimated that within 100 years there will be no rainforests. 4500 acres of forests are cleared every hour by forest fires, bulldozers, machetes etc. The paper industry is the fourth largest in producing greenhouse gas, thereby majorly contributing to deforestation.
Buckminster Fuller found that we can produce enough energy for 100% of humanity while phasing out all use of fossil fuels and atomic energy. Featured is an experimental zine publication made from one single sheet of paper, to reduce the amount of paper used. It seeks to advance the views of Buckminster Fuller, rather than profit, using a ‘do-it-yourself’ philosophy.
The regenerative concept encourages people towards natural building, which seeks to use natural materials, relying more on human labour rather than industry. Natural building emphasizes sustainability and minimal environmental impact without sacrificing the health or comfort of human inhabitants. A kirigami template is provided with instructions, which allows the reader to experiment. I am creating awareness about what can be created with few resources.
