The Bologna Massacre

This publication is based on ‘The Bologna Massacre’, an event that occurred in the year 1980. A bomb went off in an unattended suitcase in a waiting room at a train station.

The publication focuses on the victims through the trauma they experienced at the event. The publication displays first hand exposure of the victims and witnesses at the tragic bombing, it does this through the words they spoke during the event and their reflections afterwards. The colour red draws attention to important aspects, and the black and white images portray its sombre nature.
