Core

‘Core’ is a project designed to promote Chinese culture in the western world. It is a cross culture branding project about plants, focusing on Lotus, Chrysanthemum and Peony which are present in both cultures. This project is conveys Chinese style as a simple, modern but fresh taste. The inspiration came from traditional and modern artwork and ‘Core’ is the combination of both. The idea behind ‘Core’ is to promote Chinese branding in western society. This was achieved by adding both Asian and Western reading layouts.

The illustrations were created in Adobe illustrator, coloring was completed in Photoshop and the layout of the booklets was designed in InDesign.
