My functional objects are influenced by the characteristics of geometry – angles, shapes, lines and points. Explored through plaster modeling and slip casting processes this allows repetition with variation in the forms themselves.
The drafting process itself is not only important for accuracy but can generate an aesthetically pleasing graphic in its own right. These graphics provided a simple reference for exploring surface aesthetic.
