I was initially inspired by the fan light windows of Georgian buildings in Limerick City, becoming particularly interested in its impact as a primary decorative element within an enclosed hallway.
Constructing from flat paper shapes and using drawn lines, I explore the over exaggerated decorative elements of the fan window.
My work represents the decorative factor of
the windows through exploring silhouette and expanding the notion of the original crescent form.
