My pieces reflect parts of the inner self – the knowledge and information which is isolated and trapped within, and ultimately released and processed. I’m exploring balanced expansion and endless continuation.
Mosaics and puzzles enable expansion because the person decides when the image is finished or limited. Mosaic can expand endlessly beyond a frame. Each piece added carries information and information is vibration. With each addition the picture is expanding its vibrations.
Expansion can be positive or negative. When ice melts information that was isolated and trapped
is finally released and streamed. My inspiration is surface waters created on flat icecaps. The more channels of information are expanding the more information it can stream. This reflects the slow balanced release and processing of information over time in the human mind
