Empty Generation

There is a huge sense of unfulfillment and hopelessness surrounding the young people and their lives in Ireland. With no help from the government, the housing crisis and the cost of living are just not manageable here anymore.  The voices of young people in Ireland are not being heard even though they are shouting. There are not enough opportunities here for people In their mid-twenties to grow here. Leaving only one choice and that is to emigrate. Although emigration in Ireland has been happening for centuries. This is a new form of emigration where if no changes are made there will be empty generations in Ireland.

This book explores the reasons behind past emigration and the present form. Including interviews from the older generations and the current generation where some are still in Ireland and some have emigrated. Using both answers to come up with a conclusion.
