TOXIC ALCHEMY

An effect from overfishing and illegal dumping of chemical waste products at sea causes irreparable damage to our coastline. This series of works are a discourse of the small being as important as the larger issues of ecology.

Toxic Alchemy is a response by engaging with beautiful sensuous metals and chemicals of which have disturbing toxicity in the wrong environment or amounts.

Robson’s work encompasses a discourse in various media, which informs it’s own effect. Original work on Copper ground will be recycled for sustainable resource. Leaving instances of beauty in photos. Alchemy photographic series 1 will be limited to 40 prints, reflecting the estimated number of remaining years for world copper reserves.
