This collection draws from ‘The Wren’, an event which has thrived on the Dingle Peninsula from pre Christian times. It is a culmination of historical events resulting in a celebratory procession highlighting the love and laughter of the locals, beginning annually in the early hours of December 26th, locally known as ‘Lá’n Dreóilín’, and continuing on into the early hours of the following morning.  Drama, fun and social interaction come together in an arbitrary merging of fabrics, silhouette and innovative pattern cutting. A move away from the digital to a more physical and handmade approach, built around assemblies of colour, folklore inspired patterns and prints. Colours are embraced and are suitably haphazard but optimistic in mixes of brights, metallics and whites. They are energised with the addition of fluorescent orange. The use of white in the variety of fabrics such as brocade, denim and technical fabrics fluidly transports the concept throughout the collection.
