The chosen building is a protected structure located in Portland Row, Dublin. Inspired by the unfolding beauty of a daisy, the project breathes life into the forgotten space, aiming to captivate guests much like a blooming flower. The primary goal is to foster genuine human connection through intimate design, preserving architectural heritage while offering a contemporary yet timeless atmosphere. The buildings timeless elegance provides the perfect canvas for transformation. By countering digital distraction, “Echo” aspires to be more than just a venue for food and drinks; it aims to be a sanctuary where individuals can escape the fast pace and noise of modern life, reconnect with one another, and appreciate the beauty of human interaction. By infusing the space with warmth, intimacy, and a sense of intrigue, “Echoseeks to leave a lasting impression on its visitors.
