The Designers Alcove

“The Designers Alcove,” a coworking interior design studio in the heart of Dublin’s vibrant cityscape. This innovative venture aims to fill a crucial gap in Ireland’s design community by providing a dedicated space for designers of all levels to collaborate, create, and thrive. Situated in a prime location on Lower O’Connell Street within a striking 5-storey building adorned with Irish limestone, the studio offers a welcoming environment for both emerging talents and seasoned professionals.

The studio’s meticulously crafted spaces cater to every aspect of the design process, from client meetings to personalised workshop studios. A focal point of the establishment is the collaboration room, fostering idea exchange and skill-sharing among designers. By promoting collaboration and inclusivity, The Designers Alcove seeks to elevate the recognition and respect for designers while enhancing productivity and motivation.

With a ground floor housing a café for retail purposes, the upper floors provide access to the studio via a side entrance or through the café, ensuring convenience for visitors. Each studio room is outfitted with versatile materials and brands to accommodate diverse design projects, empowering designers to push boundaries and unleash their creativity. Through this endeavour, the goal is to cultivate a vibrant community where innovation thrives, ultimately enhancing Ireland’s design scene.
