LSAD PROMOTIONAL PACKAGE
The key objective of this project was to design, develop and produce a promotional package for the LSAD institute. Included in this package would be three animated informational videos 60-90 seconds in length promoting the various courses on offer at the institute. The three college courses highlighted in each of the visuals would be as follows;
Game Art and Design (GAD), Digital Animation Production (DAP), Creative Multimedia (CMM)
In addition, booklets promoting these courses and a website landing page giving further information on each of the courses would also be created. It was a clear goal that each of these promotional materials should be highly successful in the areas of aesthetics, design and performance in relation to potential students looking to apply to these courses. In achieving this the resulting skills of the author in Motion Graphics and Graphic Design in the programmes After Effects, Illustrator and InDesign would be improved. The authors’ knowledge of programming would also be improved as a result of work completed on the website landing page.
It was also a key objective to develop an understanding of what appeals most to the students looking to partake in any one of the courses on offer and therefore develop a promotional package on the basis of this understanding.
