DÚNMHARÚ! is an illustrative animation that follows Donn and four neighbours on their quest to solve a mystery of a dead dog at her house party. Donn is immediately under suspicion, so she must quickly solve this murder and prove her innocence before any other guests arrive to the party.

In this animated short the audience is introduced to characters from Irish folklore and mythology. These reimagined characters are placed within a contemporary setting and detective like narrative.

The style, influenced by the structure of graphic novels, is a collection of animated panels used to control the mood and pace of the piece. The methods of production include a combination of traditional animation techniques, illustration, and motion graphics.
