My current practice revolves around the reinterpretation of an indoctrinated belief. A confessional revelation, experienced through the spiritual rebirth of baptism. Reticence lingers between raw material and the strict architectures- spiritual, cultural and moral- that seek to contain it. Fragmented figures reimagine a long doomed and presumed inevitable repentance. Influenced by artists such as Bill Viola and Francis Bacon, the raw tactile nature of human carne imagines itself in a fermented and visceral state, its transparency embodying an indiscernible zone of suffering and vitality.
