Far In The Glen
Far In The Glen
Where down the plain the winding pathway falls,
From Glenn-field vill, to Lester’s ancient walls,
Nature, or Art, with imitative power,
Far in the Glenn has plac’d Black Annis’ Bower.
From First Flights by John Heyrick,
A young girl is lured away from her home by the call of a faerie’s song. Enchanted by the spell, she fails to consider that not everything may be as innocent as it seems.
The story is a tra-digitally animated re-imagining of the tale of Black Annis, a blue-skinned witch with iron claws that is said to live in a cave in the Dane Hills around Leicestershire, England
