I have a fascination with the marks found within an urban environment. Being based in both Limerick City and Dublin, I am constantly surrounded by marks and stains, be it a leaking pipe, faded graffiti or a grubby wall.
My intention is to alter the perceptions of these urban marks. Taking a painterly approach, I highlight the interesting qualities found in these typically overlooked and dismissed features.
