‘Rush’ is a music visualiser that emulates the experience of hyper-stimulation.

This immersive “rollercoaster” takes the viewer through the emotional and physical sensations of an adrenaline rush. The experience flows through an arc of highs and lows, exploring the threshold between stimulation and sensory overwhelm. Despite the potential discomfort, we repeat the cycle in pursuit of that momentary rush. The work explores the complexity and diversity of human relationships with feeling and sensation.

Combining live-action footage with experimental effects, this mixed-media piece blends digital and analogue techniques to create a surreal, dissociative visual environment. The resulting imagery aims to evoke both thrill and unease, mirroring the seductive yet destabilizing nature of overstimulation and addictive cycles.
