Irish folklore has long filled childhood nights with strange creatures, whispered warnings, and unseen worlds hidden within nature. Stories of the Aos Sí, wandering spirits and shapeshifting beings blur the boundary between imagination and reality.

‘The Wren’s Whisper’ follows a curious child whose love of nature is shadowed by the eerie tales told before sleep. As night falls, her bedroom dissolves into a dream where she transforms into a drifting hawthorn leaf. Guided by a small wren companion, she travels through a mysterious woodland belonging to the Aos Sí.

Along the journey she encounters a Púca, a creature often feared in Irish folklore for its unpredictable and mischievous nature. Yet the encounter reveals something unexpected. What once seemed frightening becomes playful and curious.
Rooted in Irish myth and childhood imagination, ‘The Wren’s Whisper’ explores the moment when fear begins to give way to wonder. It reflects on how stories can shape the unknown, but also how courage and curiosity allow us to see darkness differently.
