One Giant Problem
A young milkmaid goes on a quest to save her landlord’s prized cow from a giant, only to discover the giant may not be the problem after all.
Set in a sprawling valley surrounded by mountains, the story follows Tara, a young milkmaid who spends her days tending to her curmudgeonly landlord’s herd of cows. When Nóinín, her landlord’s prize cow, is captured by a giant, Tara ventures into the mountains to retrieve her. However, when she finally confronts the giant, Tara realises the cow wasn’t taken for nefarious reasons. Faced with this realisation, Tara must decide; will she take Nóinín back by force, or will she try to reason with the giant instead? Inspired by the style and humour of early 2000’s cartoons, ‘One Giant Problem’ invites the audience on a light-hearted romp through a whimsical world. The film’s message is about unlikely friendships formed to revolt against “the man.”
