An Sean Phobal

“An Sean Phobal” focuses on bringing to life the history of the local ruins of my local parish located in Co. Waterford. Ireland. The story’s left behind, only known to a few. To raise awareness of these abandoned buildings that they used to be someone’s life, someone’s home.

The animation is set in 4 different locations around An Sean Phobal and is narrated by a local man who has spent his entire life here. The animation brings awareness and nostalgia to its viewers and allows them to think about ruins and their history. Or even, perhaps, allows them to reconnect with the past.
