Beauty standards have always been extreme throughout history, however with ever-developing
technology and a desperation to keep people spending, the limit seems to have no end.

Our bodies are no longer just bodies, they are assets to be picked apart for profit. From temporary procedures like fillers, to toxic online trends encouraging breaking bones, and extreme surgeries on eyelids and cheeks there are few parts unaffected by scrutiny.

‘RELEASE’ explores the hypothetical; that if one was to remove every area of the body we
are told to be insecure about, remove the insecurity at the source, how much would be left?

If these extremities became commonplace, accessible and affordable… how much would be left of you?
