Scapegoats Throughout History
Scapegoats Throughout History is a publication that highlights the similarities between the behaviour carried out during historical witch trials and the modern day equivalents, like political witch-hunts (for example, The Red Scare in the 1950s), that exemplify the fact of how people have always looked for a scapegoat for a given situation, in order to avoid getting blamed themselves, rather than try to solve the root cause or problem of a given situation. The way the behaviour is carried has changed over time on the surface, but the actual process of finding and naming a scapegoat still remains the same.
