I am an animation student who focuses on storyboarding and character animation. I try to incorporate what I enjoy about animation into my work, interesting action and thoughtful composition. My final year film focuses on the composition of shots to tell a story with intense feelings of regret and betrayal. I’m pursuing storyboarding because i love the process of piecing together the narrative in my own way visually.

My work draws inspiration from many different places. A big inspiration for me is the director Satoshi Kon, his films focus on storytelling through visual information and editing over flashy animation. I find it inspiring that his films must be animated, by design they wouldn’t work as live action. Animation is my chosen medium, even if given the tools to work with live action I would rather pursue animation.
