OverTime.
OverTime.
OverTime is an animated short that follows our protagonist as he is
forced to stay late at his mind numbing office job.
Secluded and alone working deep into the night, the main character
does not yet realize the danger he is in, as a sinister element lurks
in the shadows.
The use of ominous textures and colours was chosen to explore the
possibility of making a very boring setting, such as a generic office
cubical, feel dangerous and unsafe. Along with small clues placed in
the background to show the viewer that something is not all right in
this setting.
With no dialogue being spoken throughout the duration of OverTime
we the audience must rely on the visuals and just as importantly
the sounds and music played to convey the tension in each scene.
All these elements combined will hopefully enthrall the viewer into
trying to uncover the mystery of this strange office building and the
horrors that lurk within it.
