Anxiety: A Video Based Intervention

Anxiety: A Video Based Intervention is an interactive installation that explores the use of video based
art to help raise awareness of anxiety and how to manage it. From examining how anxiety affects the thinking pattern of the brain on a conscious and subconscious level I have discovered that there is a link between creativity and anxiety.

10 videos are created from
audio gathered by asking a variety of people in creative and medicinal elds 10 anxiety related questions. The audio acts as
a narrative within this
installation and the visuals
as a tool of communication.

Anxiety can feel like the most personal problem but through this project I
aim to show that it is infact universal.
