My work reflects an investigation of the creation, storage and loss of memories. Our minds are like that of a hard drive storage, compacted with these detailed memories, but these moments can so easily be corrupted and destroyed. At times being completely lost. Our memories are made up of layers of information, each layer contain vital elements to the person memory. These layers get damaged over time, causing the memories to be altered in some way, creating blanks in the remaining image. My use of bleach on my film negatives represents the damage to our memories over time causing a corrosive surface while my use of glitch represents the objects present in these moments that are only partially remaining.
