Children of Lir

“Two brothers cursed to be swans by their evil stepmother must find a way to break her spell”

King Lir and his wife have children, his wife dies and Lir remarries. New wife gets jealous of the children and places a curse on them. The curse turns the children into swans and must stay that way for 900 years, each 300 at a different lake.

I chose an existing story as I wanted to focus on my work, it also gives me enough creative freedom to interpret the story how I want. I chose an Irish tale because it fits with Cartoon Saloon’s vibe as a challenge for myslef to adapt accordign to a similar style.

Kingdom Academy: A Bond of Noble Valour

Set in medieval-modern setting, there is a school to train teens into becoming royals and knights. The story follows a young girl entering late in the year, where she must navigate her new environment, exams and making friends.  ​

This show is aimed for 7–10-year-old girls, it will be rigged and have the intention of selling merchandise.​
