Flood Street

My “Flood Street” project is a deeply personal exploration of my complex connection to my Limerick home. I transform photographic observations into pixel art, creating a unique visual language that merges nostalgia with distortion. This digital imagery then moves into screenprinting, where the precise pixels meet the unpredictable textures of ink on paper, highlighting the friction between digital control and analogue chance. The project culminates in immersive installations, layering large-format prints with dynamic video projections and a melancholic shoegaze soundscape. “Flood Street” aims to transcend simple representation, inviting viewers into a subjective, sensory experience of place, memory, and the interplay between digital and physical realities.
