Dawid’s work is heavily influenced by religious iconography, history and Slavic culture.
He incorporates Slavic embroidery motifs rooted in geometry bringing his cultural
identity into his artwork. By doing so, he pays homage to his cultural heritage and
iconography. Using a variety of methods such as drawing, painting, screen printing,
and digital art, he creates religious art works aiming to create a connection and bond
between his beliefs and Slavic heritage. He believes that religious themed art which
inspired many artists and was one of the most prominent art subjects that brought a lot
of value to art itself for centuries is still relevant in contemporary art.
