For my work, I want to focus on subconscious absorption and emotional conflict by using my own creative outlets of making music, moving image and painting to be able to express this connection and allusion to my own emotions, feelings and self identity. I want to explore the themes of identity and the self , expressing it through a surreal and abstracted lens to create these visual narratives. Creating my own dreamscape and exploring these emotions of uncertainty through an interpersonal link and representing them in various mediums are important for me as a person and an artist. The dreamscape is a key source of creativity and inspiration, and by tapping into my subconscious mind, I can access a deeper level of artistic expression. By incorporating figurative forms within my paintings, abstract imagery through video and accompanying it with a soundscape is all a goal to evoke an experience within the viewer.
