‘It was fucked up’. There is a transition period in all of our lives, the invisible transformation from a child to an adult. Those years for some are difficult with the usual ups and downs of teenage life, however, for others it can become more turbulent and lead into a downward spiral where behavioural habits and actions become a pattern.
PRIVATE is a piece based on my transition from adolescence to adulthood. This reflection originated from personal letters from family, close friends and my own story at that time and has broadened to include tributes of my experience.
