A Winter's Day
A short film about the changing of seasons
For my Studio Project, I created a solo-animated short film.
I wanted to make an animation to showcase my character animation, since that’s the area I want to focus on primarily, as well as character design.
The films story follows the personifications of the seasons as they gather to perform a ritual to change from one season to the next.
During the ritual, one of the Seasons powers act up, and the rest of the group has to comfort them to help them get things back under control and complete the ceremony.
This setup gave me plenty of characters to animate and design differently, with character action and interaction being something I could prioritise in the short.
