Re:root
Re:root is a nationwide campaign designed as a response to the growing demand across Ireland for allotments and their diminishing availability. At the same time, there’s plenty of existing unused land across urban areas that is owned by the council and unsuitable for development. The campaign proposes that in collaboration with local councils these plots of land may be ‘adopted’ by residents for use as allotments or community gardens, allowing locals to grow and share food, learn new skills through workshops and connect with each other.
The brand identity is designed to feel friendly, encouraging and suited to all ages and aims to make gardening as simple, accessible and enjoyable to all.

This poster communicates how women are still heavily underrepresented in medical trials and research. Around 70% of current medical data is based on men. This leads to knowledge gaps in medical research that result in women being misdiagnosed or going without treatment and creating an overall sense of distrust between women and the medical industry. I used the colours blue and pink, a common representation of men and women and took holes out of the pink, communicating how it’s only women that suffer the consequences. The font is Aptos, a font commonly used in medical forms due to its clear design. The animation re-imagines the holes as cells, rushing in and clustering together, reminding us that a gap in research isn’t just a gap in data, but a gap in care that affects real people.
