Following a woman dealing with guilt and grief as she is left with the aftermath of what she has done. This comes to a head when she reaches a mysterious cave in the woods.
The eerie nursery rhyme “Weile Weile Waile” whispers through history, a grim tale of famine, desperation, and death. It speaks of an old woman who takes the life of an innocent child—her own—and pays for it with the noose. The song condemns her, 2666 her as a monster, her weapon a long, sharp penknife. Her crime unthinkable. But what if the story is more than a simple horror?
This piece steps into the woman’s shadow, questioning what drove her to this act. Was it hunger, madness… or something far darker? As she drowns in grief and guilt, she seeks solace in Brigid, the ancient Celtic Goddess of rebirth, but the line between mercy and murder is thin. This is a story of sorrow, madness, and the haunting weight of a mother’s choice—where horror lies not in the act itself, but in the reasons behind it.
Inspired by Walt Disney’s quote of ”First think, second believe, third dream, and finally dare.”
Going through the process of creativity and creating. I show through visuals the different stages of creating before actively creating.
First sequence has the character taking inspiration from the world and having multitude of ideas coming from them. The character is then raised from and to be consumed by their creativity to become something new, that is ready to a take action.
